Of course, this is not necessary for all software.because not all software installs/creates so much stuff in your system. You can configure spotlight to do deep but it's a bit tricky.I personally prefer using Easy Find which gives you the option to include hidden files and even package contents in your search.and it doesn't even need an index to find stuff like spotlight does. The easiest way to delete DLL files is via the CMD utility. Once loading of a DLL file takes place, it requires unloading for you to effect a deletion. To find these, you either look for these if you know where they are and delete them, but a more efficient way is to do a deep searches that include words "spectrasonis", "omnisphere" (or whatever instrument), and "SAGE" or "STEAM" depending on the instrument installed. DLL or Dynamic-link library files reside in the memory and are only evoked when related processes are running in a system. Of course, pacifist will not show you files that are created after the installation (such as preference files and receipt packages). My trick for uninstalling software that doesn't come with an uninstaller, is first to use pacifist to see the content on the installation package to know what gets installed where and then manually delete stuff.
